CCQs concept & examples.

Hi guys this week we will talk about CCQs and some examples in order to have a good understanding of vocabulary.  🤩🤩 When teaching a class it is very important to take into account that in the work plan we are going to include a new vocabulary, since it is very necessary to let the student know and facilitate the understanding of new meanings of words they do not know and all this will depend on the topic to be discussed in class. We must also be very careful when listening to words, sometimes our listening can fail us. Also we must be careful of words that are spelled one way but mean something else, for example, Exit does not mean success but exit, these are very common mistakes that many of us have made, and this is called false friends.  If, in fact, the learner is understanding and it is becoming clear to him/her what a new word means, we will use the CCQs technique, which stands for Concept Checking & Questions, that is to say that we are going to explain to...

Hi guys ❤️ a new week with lots of fun activities 🥳. We started with daily routines, we did many activities such as Stop Game using some easy letters like C, B, M, P participated the whole class but some were faster to answer and won their respective candy, also listen to a story order according to what we understood, and complete some sentences to finish with the activities we drew the favorite activity and why and then shared with the class.  And always remembering the mistakes we can make in 3rd person using the S in simple present.  The second part began with a dynamic of creating a story with the alphabet, we watched a video of daily routines and sang that would help repeat the vocabulary, we also read some stories to answer questions and share them in class, then groups of 5 people were created to make sense of some papers that we were given and form a story, kahoot game with everything seen in class and ending with unity clap!  Regina's group shared a delic...

Hi guys this is a new week 🤩. Where we learned about two interesting topics, routines and the present simple.  We started with dynamics about guessing some routines that we all do, for example, eating breakfast, clean, get dress, take a shower, these were also included in the vocabulary, Watch tv, go to work/school, take a class.  We completed several activities such as answering a page, doing a role play according to a scenario that will play, also interviewing 3 different people in the classroom.  The other part started with saying positive and lively sentences for the students, the structure of simple present was explained, as it is used for habits or routines, for example, I clean my bed every day, also the rule of the S in the subjects He, she, it q these can be replaced by names Juan, Maria or an animal or thing, also negatively as you use the auxiliary according to the subjects. There were several activities, completing negative and positive sentences, a kahoot al...

Hi Guys :) this new week we saw some interesting topics such as prepositions of place and vocabulary of things or objects for a classroom. We saw the positions of place, for example IN, ON, AT, UNDER,ABOVE and ACROS FROM, the examples were very clear on how they should be used, we also did some fun activities in groups we listened to a narration and then we placed the prepositions on a page that we were given for this activity. In this part we also did fun activities where we did exercises to complete a page, and I also liked it a lot because we showed our talent to draw an object that we had in our backpack. It is amazing how we can remember topics, or vocabulary that we saw a long time ago. Don't miss the next blogs... we are almost at the end of these classes guys.

Hey guys, we're back for another week with interesting topics. 🤩  Vocabulary and Grammar.  We saw new vocabulary about objects in a classroom, such as rulers, erasers, blackboards and new ones. The class was very dynamic throughout the class using games that we had played before, for example, Bloket word game (hangman). There was a lot of interaction from the students.  Also the Demonstration of this/ these that/ those as we can use it and know how to differentiate it when making sentences when objects are near or far away.  They function as demonstrative pronouns when they replace a noun that has been previously mentioned or has been perfectly defined by the context. They are the same as demonstrative adjectives. Example demostrative pronouns:
